!!! Important Changes to the mothersgroup system !!!
Some important changes have been made to the mothersgroup system:

Inactive Mothersgroups
Due to complaints by users that they have had no response from some mothersgroups when they request to join, or ask a question, it is apparent that some groups have been left inactive yet still displayed (remember you can stop displaying a mothersgroup listing in the Group Membership menu). This causes great inconvenience and even distress to mothers (or fathers!) who are looking for a group, but get no replies.

So in the interest in keeping these groups up-to-date, the system now records group activity. If a group remains dormant for a 1-month period (with no users logging into the system), the listing will be hidden (not displayed to the public).

The listing can be re-enabled through the group menu, but we ask that you a) keep your email address on the system up-to-date, and b) regularly login and check for new user requests. This way if the ‘new user’ email request goes missing, you can at least check on the system.

If you decide not to continue your mothersgroup, please be thoughtful of other users by disabling your mothersgroup listing.

Listing Position
Listing position of mothersgroups are now based on group activity (based on the number of user logins). The more activity a group has, the higher the position of the listing.
